Paper Line Sculpture

This lesson explores the work of Charles McGee and the art elements of line, pattern and from. Students will work with white markers on black paper and black markers on white paper to create a paper construction sculpture.

Year level suitability: 1 – 6

Duration: Approximately 2 lessons

Materials:

• Black and white cartridge paper

• Black and white markers

• Scissors

• Glue
