Positive and Negative Space Collage

In this lesson students Create a positive and negative space collage inspired by Henri Matisse. Students will use tissue paper and cartridge paper to construct two collage artworks.

Year level suitability: Foundation – Secondary

Duration: Approximately 2 lessons

Materials:

·       White and black cartridge paper (130gsm+)

·       Coloured tissue paper

·       Mod podge glue

·       Scissors
