Reverse Painted Birds

In this lesson students will explore the work of Australian artist Christine Robinson and her use of colour and pattern. Students will create a reverse painting artwork inspired by birds.

Year level suitability: Level 2 – Level 6

Duration: Approximately 3 lessons

Materials:

• Thick cartridge paper (150gsm +)

• Acrylic Paint

• Paint Brushes

• Pencils

• Bird Stencils (optional)

• Posca Pens or Paint Pens
