Steampunk Animals

This lesson explores the style of Steampunk and collage techniques. Students will use a variety of objects including card, beads and split pins to create a Steampunk inspired animal.

Year level suitability: 5 – Secondary

Duration: Approximately 3 lessons

Materials: Thin cardboard (300gsm), corrugated card, beads, buttons or other assorted found objects, split pins, T pins, scissors, PVA glue, acrylic paint (dark brown, light brown and metallic), hair dryer (optional)
