Kandinsky Print with Watercolour

In this unit of work students will explore line, shape and space while creating an artwork inspired by Wassily Kandinsky. Students will create prints using black acrylic paint and found objects and adding colour with watercolour paints.

Year level suitability: Foundation – Level 6

Duration: Approximately 2 lessons

Materials:

• A3 Cartridge paper

• Watercolour paint

• Black acrylic paint

• Round objects (bowls, lids etc)

• Thick card
