Preston Paper Flowers

In this lesson students will create a paper flower collage inspired by the style of Margaret Preston. They will work from templates or create freehand drawings of flowers before colouring them, cutting them out, and assembling them into a collaged artwork.

Year level suitability: Foundation – Level 6

Duration: Approximately 2 lessons

Materials:

• Cartridge paper (A3 and A4)

• Black marker

• Colouring tools (Choice of paint sticks, markers, pencils, paint, etc)
