Dip Pen Coral Reef

In this lesson students will explore the work of Yellena James and how to create a drawing with dip pens. They will create a coral reef dip pen drawing using coloured drawing ink inspired by the work of Yellena James.

Year level suitability: Level 4 – Secondary

Duration: Approximately 3 lessons

Materials:

• Synthetic or mineral paper (shiny paper)

• Coloured drawing inks

• Dip pens
